My Students

As a teacher in a low socio-economic school district, I know many of my students face challenges everyday in and out of the classroom. Our school is reaching for high standards and expectations from each student while trying to lead them to be the leaders of today.

All my students desire to learn and love to move around in the process.

They want to use what they know, to learn what they don't. I'm not always able to make home life easy for them, however I want to give them every opportunity to succeed in school and reach for the highest star they can possibly can!

My Project

The wobble seats will help my students focus on their academics while still being able to move. These very active students can use these chairs to give them that freedom needed to wiggle when sitting still is necessary. These wobble chairs are made specifically for active sitting, so students can a more freedom in their learning.

The donations for the wobble chairs will improve my classroom by reducing behavioral problems, because students want to move around and inadvertently distract their peers.

Having less movement distractions will ultimately increase student focus, learning and on task behavior. I can't wait for my students get their wiggles out while learning intensively.
