Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
YOU ARE BRIGHT! Our class motto. It serves as a reminder and an encouragement for all of my students. Sometimes life and school can way heavy on them and I want them to always remember how smart, hardworking, and curious they are.
Curious is the perfect word to describe my students; they are starving to learn and to explore the world around them.
I strive to provide them with ample opportunities to experiment through hands-on experiences. They keep showing me time and time again how much they know and what they can accomplish when given the freedom. They are truly bright!
My Project
Students, especially Kindergartners, have a lot of extra energy that makes it difficult for them to focus on what is being taught.
They need to get their Wiggle Worms Out!
By having flexible seating in my classroom, my students will be able to wiggle while they work! Sometimes all they need is a little movement to keep their focus.
Flexible seating adds excitement to my classroom environment when the students are allowed to choose their spot. Do they want to sit on the wobble chair or the giant blocks? Maybe they want to sit on the couch while diving into a great book! With these new seats, my students will be able to have more choices and independence!
