My students need a variety of flexible seating including balance balls and wobble cushions to use, so they can have a comfortable place to put forth their best work.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My awesome group of students have many talents...from dancing around the room to making me laugh daily. They like to move while learning, as sitting is hard for them!
What student doesn't want to walk into a classroom they are proud of?
These students come from low-economic homes, with many hurdles to face outside of the classroom, as well as in it. I want to be the difference in helping them make a change. They are always learning new things!
My Project
It is a long day at school...sitting in hard chairs. My students don't like sitting long and like movement. They gravitate to the teachers chair or cushions, which are more comfortable. By donating to our project, you will help find a solution to our daily struggle when it comes to the classroom.
What better solution, but to have comfortable seating, such as ball chairs and cushions for the chairs?
Flexible seating choices is needed in a classroom with special needs students. My students have sensory issues, making this type of seating beneficial.
I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
