My Students
My students are struggling readers and most are living in poverty. I would like to create a positive, inviting reading environment for them to come to each day. I am looking to provide versatile seating that will support activities that are collaborative, traditional, self-paced or one-on-one, as I use more than one type of instruction method throughout the day. This seating would also allow the integration of technology in a comfortable setting. I think the kids would benefit from the ability to shift focus throughout the room and their interaction will be enhanced with versatile seating!
My Project
I am requesting versatile seating for my struggling K-4 readers. With options for seating, my students will be able to adapt to different activities. This seating will also help them stay focused for longer periods of time while reading or writing in my room. This seating would be easy to move and rearrange in my room to meet the needs of the students. Wobble Chairs transform regular sitting into active sitting, by allowing the students to move around while they read and write. My students will be able to wiggle, wobble and work when sitting in these amazing Wobble Chairs!
