My students need alternative seating and interactive software to help students with varying abilities. One common issue is we all learn differently, this will help enhance all learning styles.
Please help us to learn using an interactive white board. I am in search of help to enhance my classrooms hands on learning activities. We love tablets, computers, and video games. We have had a great time exploring all that this wonderful technology has to offer, but it is limited to one person at a time using it. I would like to have the students be more engaged as a group using technology to learn. We would like to use a whiteboard and an early learning interactive software to help enhance learning and class participation. Many of my students are developmentally challenged, and they would learn better by appealing to all their senses. I truly believe by using sight, touch, and sound it will enable all learners to retain knowledge. By using alternative seating, we can add movement to the list, and keep them on task but not still.
My Project
Children need to have a chance to move, even when you want them to sit and listen! For many children this is just not possible. For 3-6 year old children, this really is not developmentally appropriate. Wobble Chairs will make it easier for them to attend to tasks and not have to sit still.
Interactive software would help to engage these children to learn by using sight, sound, and touch.
A vast array of learning experiences such as Literacy, Math, Phonics, Sequencing, Patterning, Colors, Shapes, Science, Circle Time, letter Matching and formation, Rhyming words, Measurement, Early Geometry, Number Sense, are just a few subjects to help all learners!
Having an alternative seat such as Wobble Chairs, would also give them personal space but not make them sit still. They would have the ability to wiggle and wobble and not disturb those around them.
