Wiggle, Wiggle, Wiggle!

Help me give my students the ability to meet their sensory needs with 30 wiggle cushions, a pack of chair bands, and a pack of fidget rings so they can be successful without interrupting the classroom.

My Students

Our students range in grades from 6-8th grade. They are attached to the center-based Affective Needs/SSN or Autism classroom but they spend some of their time in outside classes. Things that may seem normal or regular in the classroom to most people can cause our students to dis-regulate. Many of the students within the programs have sensory needs.

Being successful is a good feeling and a great accomplishment, for our kiddos, regardless how big or small it may seem to others.

My Project

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

We need stability cushions and bouncy bands as well as fidgets to help us focus.

Throughout the years I have learned that some of the "old-time" fidgets were noisy and distracted the class as well as the teacher. These are portable fidgets that allow the students to advocate a need and then be able to fill it for themselves. This increases their independence as well as their success in the classroom.
