This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are positive, hard-working, enthusiastic learners! Often my students vocalize that they enjoy coming to school and are excited about learning. I want to provide the best possible learning environment for them to meet their individual needs. Many of my students struggle to sit still and focus. I have borrowed a wiggle stool to determine if this type of flexible seating would be helpful, and it was! One stool is not enough for our classroom, please donate so more students can be more engaged in their learning!

My Project

My students are very active young scholars! Young boys are known to be significantly more active than young girls. In my class 14/19 students are boys.

I have already started implementing flexible seating in my classroom by having a standing table for three of my male students.

I have already seen their focus during work-time increase. I believe that the Kore movement stools will increase time on-task and increase student engagement. A day in Kindergarten is a long period of time for students to focus without a lot of time to be physically active. Help provide an outlet for my students with a donation!
