I am excited to be teaching at a kindergarten/first grade at my school in the Santa Barbara area! My school is a small school that is dedicated to children's academic and emotional growth. The community is highly involved in students' education and take pride in having a close-knit school. The school I teach at is a high performing school and values family involvement and the arts. I am thrilled to be teaching at a school that is dedicated to educating the whole child and providing learners with enriching opportunities.
My Project
Long gone are the days of sitting in hard plastic chair! Younger kids need to move while they learn. This is why I am asking for your donation to help my little learners have the option to use balance balls while they work. Flexible seating has been proven to be effective in students' engagement and posture. Being able to move allows for more oxygen to go to the brain which will help with staying on-task and focusing. The balance balls will be placed at tables instead of chairs to aid in comfort and movement. I would truly appreciate your donation to help bring balance balls into my classroom!
