My students are FULL of energy and life! They walk into our classroom every day ready to learn and face their day with new challenges that may arise. They are excited to learn new things and be with their classmates each day. Not only do I believe in them to do their BEST, they believe in each other as well as themselves.
I teach third grade and love it!
My students deserve to have an opportunity to spread their wings and take risks with materials that are readily available to them.
This is a group of students that has academic potential to be great when provided the opportunity. I hope that by building opportunities for them to thrive, they will be become all they can.
My Project
In my traditional/ flexible seating classroom, students sit at desks or tables, often assigned to them. However, my students do have opportunities to move around the room after a particular classroom subject lesson has been delivered. They are given a break after the classroom lesson and have the option to find a more suitable spot for them to carry out a task that has been assigned to them to enforce the lesson.
Throughout my tradition/ flexible seating classroom, the learning environment is arranged to give a variety of options.
Students can choose where they would like to work on their current project. Students might choose a location based on how they're feeling that day or what project they are working on.
I would like to include these Flex Floor Seating Chairs and Flex Balance Balls into my flexible seating options for my students among tables, cushions, rugs, clipboards, bean bag chairs, and pillows that they already have access to.
