Wiggle While We Work!

My students need to move while they work! We would like wobble chairs for the classroom so that our young students can wiggle while they work.

My Students

My students come to school each day excited and ready to learn! Kindergarten is an exciting entrance to the world of formal schooling.

I teach at a Title I school, where 68% of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch.

Our population is racially and ethnically diverse.

It is so important to get these kids excited about learning from an early age so that they can work to break the poverty cycle. We are working to get college into these kids' minds, starting right from kindergarten!

My Project

We all know that young children need to MOVE. I try to incorporate movement whenever possible throughout our day, and wobble chairs will add another time and type of movement for us.

Wobble chairs will help my young students tremendously by letting them move and work at the same time.

I am so excited by the idea that students will be able to do their seatwork while still getting their wiggles out.

This will change our classroom for the better by increasing focus in our classroom. Additionally, it will help students to release their energy in the classroom in a positive way.
