My Students
My students are your typical Kindergarten students: Energetic, enthusiastic, and full of life! They love to learn and come to school every day ready to tackle whatever I present with joy and a great sense of fun. The more I can make their learning engaging and entertaining, the more successful they will be.
My students come from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
My students are incredibly creative, active, playful and kind. We constantly talk about having a growth mindset and to always persevere, even with things are tough. They know that education is the gateway to changing the world!
My Project
Our classroom needs a learning space that encourages creativity, collaboration and movement. Throughout the day, students are constantly working together in groups and learning from one another. These are essential team-building skills that Kindergartners learning. Additionally, my students are very active and energetic. It is difficult for my young students to stay focused while sitting in an uncomfortable seat.
For these kinesthetic learners, these floor seats, exercise balls and cushions will allow for a quiet way to move and will stimulate students physically as well as mentally!
These new seating options will allow students versatility within the classroom - whether they have their noses deep in a book, using manipulatives to practice math strategies, conducting a science experiment, or creating art masterpieces!
