Wiggle While We Work: Flexible Seating for Flexible Learners
My students need floor seats, Wobble cushions, and The Surf Lap desks as flexible seating options to have choice and control over their environment. These alternative seating options allow them to learn while giving them the option to wiggle and move!
A day in my classroom is full of adventure, kindness, and learning. My students love school, learning and their friends! My classroom to be a place that kids can be themselves and learn to be kind, capable and curious students!
My classroom is a safe place for students to learn and grow.
My students are always moving, talking and experiencing. We learn through hands-on experiences. We spend a lot of time focusing on being kind to one another through our character education program. We work hard, aim high, and do what's right.
My students come to school every day excited and ready to learn. They are encouraged to be hands-on in their learning. My hope is that they leave my classroom as problem solvers who are ready to tackle the challenges of our ever-changing world.
My Project
My students need to have the choice of alternative seating in our classroom. The choice will give my students the flexibility to move when needed. The seats are great for those students who need or want the opportunity to move while getting their work done.
Students will be given the choice of what seating they would like to use in our classroom; such as the floor seats, Wobble cushions, or The Surf Lap desks.
By giving students a choice of flexible seating options, they take control and ownership of their work time while being comfortable. Thank you so much for supporting my students and their learning!
