My Students

Fair isn’t everyone getting the same, fair is everyone getting what they need to be successful. I teach in a first grade full inclusion classroom. All of my students have varying abilities and needs. They are energetic, inquisitive, and each incredibly unique. My students are eager to learn and are excited about being at school. They love to dance, be silly, and move about doing activities in the classroom.

It is exciting each and everyday to challenge each student to work towards their own personal goals and watch them grow throughout the year.

My Project

As most of you know 6 and 7 years olds are not the greatest at keeping still for very long! My students love being able to move about and sit in different areas and kinds of chairs in my first-grade​ classroom. It allows them to become more at ease when completing their assignments.

This project is a kid-inspired for students that are full of energy and the love of learning.

The longer they have to sit still, the more diminished their attention becomes. Sitting still and having to pay attention to a lesson is just not an ideal situation for some of my first grade students. That’s where the wobble stools will come in handy!

The wobble stools will help to improve their attention span and their overall learning environment. My students and I thank you in advance for you generosity!
