My students need flexible seating options, such as a stability ball chair, wobble stools, and disk seat, for students who need to wiggle while they learn!
Each day, I am fortunate to greet fifteen unique personalities at the door, eager and ready to embark on a new adventure!
Our class is filled with laughter, collaboration, and learning.
Our classroom is made up of seven and eight-year-old students who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. They are able to come together to share their experiences and perspectives. Their natural curiosities are easily explored through a number of different tools. My students continuously challenge me, allowing me to learn and grow each and every day.
My Project
The wobble stools, balance ball chair, and disk seat will allow students to choose the seating that best fits their learning needs. We currently have cushions to sit on while reading, along with a few rocking chairs, but additional flexible seating is needed to help our class continue to be engaged learners! The dry erase clipboards will allow them to complete writing tasks while moving around the room to a smart spot.
