My Project

Students often say that math class its boring. I say all we need is a little movement to stimulate the brain. I have learned that flexible seating is important within a special education classroom. Having a choice of where to sit can be empowering to a student. Flexible seating allows students to move around the classroom and become more alert. Having a comfortable environment can increase student focus. My sixth-grade students will benefit from having flexible seating in the classroom. The flexible seating will allow them to get the sensory input needed to focus on their work.

The aromatherapy will relax and fill the air with sweet-smelling scents using diffuser wood grain essential oil aromatherapy diffuser.

The lights and fluorescence cover will give the classroom a more calming effect. The soft lights will reduce headaches and relax their eyes.

The products I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. My students will be more relaxed and focused on learning. Multiplication and subtracting guided grids will make learning easier and fun.
