My Students

I am the K-3 Inclusion Specialist/Resource Specialist at a district school site that has offers a unique program of inclusion for students with Autism. As the Inclusion Specialist, I ensure that my students have accommodation in place in their general education classrooms to ensure their success and accessibility to grade level academics. These accommodations can range from visual schedules to audio books to allowing for extra classroom movement. As the Resource Specialist, I provide small group instruction for reading, mathematics and social emotional learning.

My Project

Flexible seating options are a great way for students to be able to move their bodies while listening and participating in learning opportunities. Many students in special education have the need to move their bodies more than their peers. My students are no exception!

Using flexible seating options can facilitate focus, concentration, and participation!

My students will love to have a fun way wiggle while staying engaged, allowing them to focus on learning without being distracted by the physical needs of a busy body. Please help my students wiggle their way into learning!
