Wiggle, Move And Learn... Wobble Stools Make It Possible!
My students need 25 Wobble Stools to improve attention, focus, physical activity, participation and to encourage their natural "wiggling" instincts in a productive way!

My students are 25 active, happy, energetic and enthusiastic learners!
They are always happy and excited to come to school, to interact with each other and learn new things throughout our day. They constantly ask "why" and are always wanting to learn more things and explore new ideas! Our school is a small school setting, with only 1 classroom per grade. Everybody in our school knows everybody, and we really embrace the community model and have several partnerships within our community. We encourage and support family interactions and offer many resources to our parents to help them succeed as well as their children. We offer a small school alternative for those students who need a smaller and more personal environment to really thrive.
My Project
My students would use the "Wobble Stools" in place of their current regular school chairs. These chairs will provide an appropriate outlet for their natural and age-appropriate "wiggling" and "moving" motions. My students are 6 and 7 years old, they are constantly in motion. Regular school chairs hinder their ability to move in a productive and appropriate way, and have them sitting in a sedentary state for the entire school day. We move as much as we can, but there are times when they are required to sit and read and work on math and listen to directions, where they are immobile. This prevents them from focusing and participating to the best of their ability. These "wobble stools" would increase participation, physical activity, focus and provide them with an outlet for their "wiggling" that will also allow them to be extremely successful students at the same time. They are safe, fun and will really help keep these kids in constant learning motion!

These stools will provide so much more for them than just a place to sit, and I can only imagine the looks on their faces when these new stools arrive and they have the chance to get rid of their blue immobile chairs!
