Every moment is a learning adventure in kindergarten. All learning is new and exciting. My students have so much fun experiencing every aspect of their day. From learning their letters and numbers, to experiencing joy at simple things like recognizing their name for the first time. There is always something exciting happening in kindergarten.
Truly, everything you need to know is learned in kindergarten.
We are working together to build a community of learners with a foundation of kindness and compassion. We are learning core life skills such as: sharing, taking turns, cleaning up after yourself, honesty is the best policy, being respectful, being safe, and being kind.
We are tactile learners, experiencing everything through hands-on exploration. When we are able to experience it ourselves, first hand, we truly understand.
My Project
Having Gaiam Kids Balance Ball Chairs will allow a flexible seating option. Finding a comfortable chair makes working much more fun. Fidget tools allow students to keep their hands busy while learning.
Books teaching about equity and diversity will help my students understand their differences and celebrate their similarities.
These books will help teach empathy and understanding for different cultures. I want to represent all my students in the books in our classroom library. My students love to hear stories and adding the diversity books will help teach life lessons. This will help build unity and and strengthen the community in our classroom.
