My Students

My students are in grades 3-5. I work with students that have IEPs and many come for reading and math support.

All of my students love coming into the resource room.

One of the biggest reasons is because they all know that they are going to receive the help that they need to succeed in school. The whole time that they are in my classroom they are working on goals specific to them in the areas or reading and math.

My Project

I have many students that constantly have to move around when working at our small group table. With flexible seating in the resource room, my students will be to be more engaged and move around without being distracting to other students.

The funding of this project will help my students stay on task.

My students have had access to the stools in the past and do really well with them, but being a newer teacher I currently don't have any in my classroom. In the future, I would like to have more flexible seating options, but the is a start!
