My students have such creative and curious minds. Each student will bring their own uniqueness to the classroom. Despite their living situations and various learning styles, all of my students work hard to enhance their learning. We are at a Title I elementary school and all of the students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Many of our students come from single parent households or are being raised by their grandparents.
Most of our parents don’t hold a high school degree, instead they work several jobs to make ends meet. They have difficulties finding time to see their children let alone help them with homework or meet a teacher. These students are vivacious and always on the go. They desire love, attention, and have an appetite for learning. They also lack the ability to function independently which requires a lot of energy to keep them on task and engaged.
Wobble chairs were originally designed to support students with ADHD because they provide a physical challenge and opportunity to release energy while simultaneously working. With more than 50% of my students being diagnosed with ADHD, these would be perfect for my students. They will allow my students to get their wiggles out in a safe way while at the same time helping them to better concentrate on the work at hand. I can't wait to add these wobble chairs to my classroom! The students will absolutely love them and I will enjoy seeing the difference they make with each and every student!
Elementary students are known for being wiggly and these bean bag & wobble chairs are a great way for them to get the wiggles out!
Flexible seating is a great alternative to the traditional classroom chairs. My students will be able to wiggle & wobble while they are learning instead of being frustrated because they can't sit still in a traditional classroom chair.
