My Students

RES is a truly special place. Our students understand that school is so much more than a place to learn about reading, writing, and math. It is more than a building and more than a report card. The word "school" means community, family, a place to grow, discover, and create.

RES is more than a school, it is home to a diverse and passionate group of students, teachers, families, and community members.

One of the greatest things about our school is how common it is to find students who live in rural West Virginia "hollers", urban housing projects, and million-dollar homes harmoniously working together. Additionally, we have students who represent a wide variety of cultures, religions, and family situations. We love functioning as one big, happy, diverse family!

Our students work hard, play hard, and make us very proud!

My Project

According to their website, Teachers Pay Teachers is the go-to platform created by teachers, for teachers, to access the community, content, and tools they need to teach at their best.

According to this teacher, TPT is sometimes a life-saver, and an all around invaluable resource.

Numerous times I will turn to TPT when I have trouble coming up with a good way to teach a lesson. I feel that I am a better teacher because of the resources I've bought on the site throughout my career.

This year I have been buying a lot from Brittany Washburn, an elementary teacher who has made fantastic content for teaching technology. I would love to be able to purchase more of her content. Thank you for. your consideration!
