My Students

My students walk into my classroom every day full of life, eager to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day.

I am an Exceptional Children's teacher at a Title I school in North Carolina where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many of my students receive backpack food on the weekend. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so that they will have the tools to be productive citizens.

My Project

Our class could greatly benefit from a new iPad. Currently, we have 2 iPads to share among 28 students. That can be a very difficulty task, some days. Children love to get on educational apps on the iPad and I have to be very diligent in assigning each student time on the iPad.

The funding of this project could help me expand my centers in my classroom.

I would be able to have a center for just iPads. Our students love to learn using the iPad. My students would greatly benefit from just one more iPad. Please assist me in helping my students learn.
