My students need to improve their non-fiction reading comprehension and I am trying to create them a classroom library.

My Students
My students are a diverse group of students from every aspect of life. Many who are military children who have so many experiences to share. Every last one of them has the spark to become something great.
My students love to do hands-on and creative projects that bring history to life.
They are encouraged to problem solve and use their own creativity. To challenge themselves to be better then the day before. Many of these students come from low income homes and do not get the encouragement they need at home to read and put priorities on their education.
My Project
Many of my students come from all over the world. They are all at different reading and learning levels. The non-fiction reading books will allow students at different levels the opportunity to read about history in an engaging and easy to build way.
A dedicated Social Studies library in my classroom will allow them the opportunity to find this material and read in a fun and interesting environment.
This will allow them to explore their own interests.
Non-fiction reading material is one of the hardest to read and comprehend. The goal is to introduce students to historical information with interactive and engaging material.
A few titles I have requested are: Who Was: Nonfiction 24 book set, Where is the White House?, Who Were The Beatles? and many more.
