My Students

I teach in a rural middle school that is a low-income school. I am creating this club so my club members will have a place to come to so they can have a brain break while still learning. I want students to leave my club and tell others that they should have joined this club because I can be myself and still have fun while learning.

I would love for this club to instill social skills like fairness, listening to others, and being a good teammate.

My Project

We have club time at my school this year and I wanted to create a club that could be a time where students could have fun and learn at the same time.

Students need time throughout the day to take a brain break and laugh and have fun and this can include learning by using these educational board games.

I think my students will enjoy playing games that are not commonly found on shelves in the stores that they shop. These games will also be beneficial because they will be learning trivia, vocabulary, and social skills as they learn to play with others.
