My 21 enthusiastic students deserve to receive the best education possible! I have students who love to be challenged and enjoy discovering new concepts.
Our school is located in the Northeastern corner of Oklahoma.
The center has K-3 grade with two classes for each grade. About half of my students receive some type of aid. I have no idea what some of my students go through at home, but I try my best to show love, compassion and to give them a quality education.
Every student in my class deserves the resources and supplies to be successful. All of my students like to move! I need some additional resources to help better differentiate in my classroom.
My Project
During independent work times students will choose a location in the room to better fit their needs. Flexible seating will help students be able to focus and feel more comfortable! If a student can feel comfortable I believe they will accomplish more. If students are given an option where they want to work, I feel they will be more engaged!
The desk/chair combination gives students a choice to sit at a different location, if they are struggling at their desk.
Students can also use the desk/chairs to work in small groups at a more comfortable/fun location. The comfortable floor chairs can be used for any reason a struggling student might need. Chair balls can be used at any student desk throughout the room to help with wiggles. The chair cushions can be used to help students with sensory issues.
All the items on my list are great to use in a classroom with students needing sensory and movement needs! My class is in need of these supplies.
