My students need more books in our classroom library that represent different genres to encourage each student to read by finding books that he/she connects with and is excited to read.
My students are diverse, unique, and eager learners that love to read but are in need of some new titles and books from different genres. They come from various backgrounds. Many of my students don’t have numerous books to read at home, so offering a good selection of titles for them to read out of our classroom library is important for their growth as learners. They would be thrilled to see new titles on our bookshelf this fall! Please help me make this a reality for them.
My Project
These books will allow my students to read and be exposed to good literature. We all know the way to become a better reader is to read! Providing a variety of newer and interesting books will encourage reading growth in my students. Reading different genres is part of our curriculum and makes students well rounded. Reading impacts EVERY single subject in school and almost every area in life. Getting kids engaged and developing a love for reading is key to their success. The books I have chosen are award-winning, written by beloved authors, and have been requested by my students!
