Help me give my students dress up costumes and accessories that will encourage their play to feel more like real life scenarios. Organization is key, and the clothes rack, bins, and hangers help students return materials properly.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My Kinder students are eager to learn, and their enthusiasm is so contagious. I have watched them grow socially through dramatic play scenarios so much already this year.
Social interactions is essential for their growth at this age.
It is my goal to provide opportunities for my students to work together to strengthen their individual coping skills and oral communication ability. This is paramount for their success later on in life.
My Project
The materials I have chosen broaden students' understanding of the world around them. They can learn about various jobs within society and discover careers that may be of interest to them through play and the books provided at the dress up center.
Students can understand people's roles in the community through play scenarios.
This allows them time to act out the jobs and duties of various community helpers.
Students this age need help with organizational skills and putting their daily materials away properly. They will learn to hang their costumes properly on the clothes rack and in bins along with any accessories they may be using.
