My students are ambitious, eager, and individuals. They strive to succeed and have their own way of learning. They live in a poverty stricken environment with many challenges.
My students need encouragement and told daily that they are special and they matter, and the choices they make will direct their path in life.
Life is difficult for the majority of my students. Without government assistance, many would be homeless or without the necessities of life. Their academic levels vary in my classroom. I strive daily to meet the needs of all my students.
They are a wonderful group of students with different learning styles that are destined for great adventures.
The IRIS 2 - Tier wood storage shelves will help the students to be organized and know where their supplies are located. I do a lot of group work and activities. It is crucial that the students know where their materials are for their groups. They go to the storage shelves, grab the supplies and return to their work table in less than a minute. The good thing is they bring to the table only what is needed without having to filter through many supplies. The shelves organize the subjects and each shelf holds one subject belonging to all group members.
These storage shelves would be excellent for the Heads of the table to retrieve supplies in a timely manner.
As all teachers know time is of the essence! The storage shelves will help to eliminate time that is lost searching through messy desks.
Many times I have seen students struggle with their supplies in the desks, they pull out crumpled papers, torn books, and even food lost in the over crowded desks.
Please help us stay focused, organized and successful!
