This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have twenty-five first graders who are eager to learn. They love to come to school and the school year requires several supplies that will be used. Our school is a Title One elementary school in the California Bay Area. Supplies are in constant need to be replenished and donations from families are limited.

Children thrive with hands-on learning.

All of our students love to learn and I make it my goal to help them absolutely love coming to school each and every day.

My Project

Students need many transitions throughout the day to keep their engagement. The whiteboard easel would allow students to participate in learning at the rug, away from their desks.

The magnetic whiteboard easel would be a wonderful tool for student learning.

Students would be able to practice math concepts. Our math block is over an hour long, so students need some learning time at the rug and not remain at their desk for the whole block. The whiteboard easel would also be used to teach students phonics skills and spelling patterns for English Language Arts. The whiteboard easel would be a great addition to our classroom.
