My students need these dry erase boards, markers, and erasers to use for quick response during class. They love to use the white boards and desperately need a new set.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our classroom is very interactive. I like to use a variety of strategies to keep the students engaged and active. Dry erase boards allow students to give individual responses to questions. I sometimes use them for games.
My students come from a low income predominantly Hispanic neighborhood.
Many of them come from multi-language homes and like to express themselves in different ways. They sometimes have difficult situations at home, but I like to create an environment in which they can "lose" themselves.
My Project
We will use the dray erase boards, erasers, and markers to play games such as Jeopardy, Pictionary, and any other call out response game. We will use them during instruction as well. I can ask the class a question and have the students write their responses on the white boards for an individual personalized look at each student.
The students currently have dry erase boards that are worn out and very old.
They would benefit greatly from a new set. They like to use the white boards on a daily basis because they like to show what they can do as individuals.
