My Students
Our students come from many different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Our school is a host site for an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program. Many of these students do not have an English speaking parent at home. Additionally, my classroom is an inclusive classroom where students with and without special needs learn together.
Each day brings new and exciting challenges for my students and myself to tackle.
I want these students to have all the tools necessary to be successful when facing these challenges.
My Project
Our classroom is fortunate to have 6 tablets to use on a daily basis. However, we do not have a good system in place for storing and charging the tablets. Several times, students get a tablet to work with only to discover it is not fully charged. Or, tablets will be misplaced due to the fact there isn't a designated spot for them.
A designated area for our tablets to be stored and charged will help our classroom run more smoothly.
Our tablets will be charged and ready when we need them. Students will know where to get a tablet to use and where to return it when they are finished using it. The Store and Charge Tablet Station will be a great addition to our classroom.
