Where Do We Sit?

Help me give my students the ability to choose where they sit and sit more comfortably. A new rug will help us stay separated and safe while learning without distractions. Wobble cushions will help us get wiggles out!

My Students

Our classroom is full of amazing readers, mathematicians, and creative writers! We all work our hardest during the school day, and are leaders to our peers! Our community is located in beautiful Midcoast Maine. Just over fifty percent of students in our school are eligible for free or reduced lunch. Our class loves to play outside, draw, and have discussions with one another about anything you could think of.

The seed for learning has been planted inside us, now we need the resources to help us grow.

Our class is full of students excited to learn and grow with one another. We are often asking questions about things we are curious about and learn so much because of these questions.

My Project

Having a defined space to sit during read aloud time is helpful to keep us in out own space. Sometimes its hard to sit on the rug. Having the wobble cushion will help students get wiggles out while learning in a new space.

Why learn in one spot when we have so many different learners?

We need different spaces, and we all learn differently. I want our classroom to be a match to that. I want to have a classroom that is open and friendly and gives individuals the chance to be in the space that fits them best.
