My students needs a ChromeBook to serve as assistive technology because of struggles with writing/grasping a pencil.

My Students

Reduce the anxiety of a student with special needs as he struggles with even the simplest writing tasks.

My student attends a public school in Pennsylvania full of diversity and acceptance.

For a student who is motivated to do well, participates in school events, and loves playing on the soccer team - you would never know that his anxiety increases every time he is faced with multi-paragraph writing tasks.

My Project

Having a Chrome Book will increase this student's level of success. He will be able to write with ease, expressing himself both in school and for homework assignments and projects. Currently, this student struggles with handwriting, and may become overwhelmed when faced with a larger writing assignment.

My student will have the ability to email his teachers assignments with confidence knowing that they will understand his thoughts and ideas possibly for the first time.

This simple device will make all the difference in the world.
