I teach a very diversified group of students, culturally, educationally, as well as socially. My students struggle with motivation and require extra prompting and varying techniques for engagement. Many of my students struggle with emotional issues and others struggle with communication skills. Amidst everything they are caring individuals and deserve all the best that the world has to offer them.
My Project
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about my students and my project. My students are great people, however, some skills they are still developing include a love for reading, self motivation, and social-emotional skills. As we get to know each other more as the school year goes on I have a better idea of what I might use to help motivate them.
An appreciation of reading/adventure, a means to maintain focus, as well as the inspiration to learn and know more are vital to students in a classroom setting.
I hope that these resources can help continue to help my students develop these skills and characteristics.
