Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are fun-loving Kindergarteners from a rough, high poverty inner-city area in Southern California. They come in every day, excited and ready to learn and play.
Most of my students are English Language Learners that have never been in a school setting before coming to my class.
We are learning every day through games and other activities. I love to keep it fun for them! It's best when they don't even realize they are learning because they're having so much fun. At the end of all the fun, we are also learning to keep our things neat and organized.
My Project
I am asking for classroom supplies that will be used in our Kindergarten classroom once we are able to be back in school together! The folders and pencil boxes will help keep student supplies organized. The sheet protectors will help keep stuff nice within those folders . The Crayola Twistable crayons will help make our classroom work more colorful. The chart paper and Sharpie pens will help us write down and organize our thoughts. These are just a few things that will help make students in the classroom more successful at learning!
