I have a wonderful group of 22 bright, cheerful, friendly, caring, and wiggly kindergartners. My students come into Kindergarten with a variety of abilities and talents. They also come in with a love to learn!
We all come from different homes, but when we are in the classroom we are all a family.
Our 'home' is a safe, happy, and positive place for all to be. We have a mission in our room to be ready, be respectful, and be learners!
My Project
My class of 22 cheerful, eager kindergarten learners are looking for hands on experiences! We want to combine science, reading, math, and writing to learn all about the life cycle of a chicken! Starting with incubating the eggs to raising baby chicks! Many of my students will never have this experience.
Students learn best when they take ownership and have a real life, hands on experience!
This is what we can create for my students. The students will do research on what is needed to incubate eggs, the life cycle of the eggs, observations during the 21 day process and story writing after the baby chicks have hatched. Let's make this happen for these enthusiastic kindergartners!
