My Project

This year, I am working on being able to obtain a printer to use for sublimation projects in the school. This process uses special ink, paper, and heat to create custom shirts, bags, and so much more. These materials will help get us started.

My plan is to set this up in the science lab so that all teachers will have access to it to use with their classes.

The first project I would like to do with the sublimation supplies are to create class shirts for my students. I would love to create a sense of family and unity within our classroom. That's why I thought it would be so fun to create class shirts for my students. They would be perfect to wear on a school spirit day or just as a way to boost our classroom morale.

For my second project, I was thinking of various ways the students can display their own artwork on their shirts. Whether that's in collaboration with the art teacher or a piece we do together in class. I think it would give the students a sense of pride to be able to display their artwork. So many of them struggle academically, but have true artistic talent. It would be nice to see them be able to share their gift with everyone they see.
