This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students have PE every day for thirty minutes! Students participate in a variety of fitness activities, interactive games, and an opportunity for positive social-emotional development. They learn in an environment of work, play, and mindfulness.

A high percentage of our students have social-emotional needs and the need for an innovative activity helps significantly.

Supporting our students with dynamic learning opportunities and using best practices for instructional strategies gives each child the best opportunity to graduate and be a positive contributing citizen.

My Project

Our PE program is in need of replacement wheels for our Ezy Roller Scooters. We are fortunate to have 12 amazing scooters, but the front wheel on each scooter is grounded down to the point where the ride is clunky. With these wheels, kids can roll on and have fun again with our scooters.

Ezy Roller Scooters are a classic hit in PE and we haven't been able to use them because the front wheels are worn down to nothing.

We play games, design races, and explore our imagination on these scooters, and when they roll quick as intended the kids absolutely love it! It would go a long way to bring the fire back to our scooters. Thank you for considering my project!
