This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Very excited to be looping up from 4th grade to 5th grade with my kiddos. The first few days have been a pleasant return to normal while other classrooms are finding their footing and getting to know each other.
The only downside to this year is the back to school - what happened to all my stuff?
Upon returning to school we noticed two very important things had gone MISSING over summer break: 1) Our Author’s Chair and 2) our air purifier.
Not only have I stalked the hallways and classrooms, but the kiddos have started looking as well, and even started hypothesizing what or who happened to our classroom items. (Last year it was a couple desks and an electric pencil sharpener that went missing! It’s always something when your room is used for summer programming).
So looking to replace the author’s chair before our first writing unit is complete so student have that special moment of sitting in “the chair” to share their writing. The air purifier is a must since we are At the end of summer Covid season and approaching the fall/winter season.
Kids who feel special and safe enjoy coming to school to learn. I would greatly appreciate your help in replacing the mysterious missing materials from our room!
