To allow my students to have authentic educational experiences, my students need more opportunities for hands-on learning.
My students range from 3-5 years old. My students come from suburban neighborhoods, rural farms, and public housing. My students come from a small geographic region but they and their families have a vast array of life experiences. Truly these students are my inspiration.
My Project
Our students love being very active. Our class is very hands on and constantly moving.
The trikes would help our little busy bees with their gross motor movements.
Some of our little guys and gals have not mastered pedaling bikes yet, therefore these trikes would help them develop those gross motor skills that they have not mastered yet. Not only would these bikes help in key development with their muscles but would also help build up their bone strength in their legs. Children learn through decision making and freedom to make choices. Trikes are a fundamental asset that would benefit our students and help them grow.
