My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, they are looking for someone to show them that they deserve a great education. Students just need one person to believe in them and I do!

Helping students believe in themselves is the key responsibility of a teacher.

Students will gain academic and personal success when they believe they can succeed and they know you believe it too.

My Project

Scholastic Magazines are a wonderful resource for students to use to learn about interesting topics in the news. The magazines are colorful and engaging! Each magazine will address current events and present it in a way that my students will be engaged. The magazines will arrive each week so the kids will have something to look forward to. Reading is essential in a child’s education and making reading more meaningful and fun will help foster their own love of reading. I want to provide my students with resources that will enhance their learning and make learning more fun. Please help me by funding my project.
