I am a first grade teacher at an amazing public school. My 23 students come to school from various backgrounds and experiences. They are eager and inquisitive and their desire to learn keeps me on my toes! This is my 12th year teaching and I can't think of a better school or grade level to spend each and every day learning from my students!
My students learn best by seeing, hearing, touching, and exploring. I love watching my children's faces as they learn through exploration and experimentation. Unfortunately, as our school and class sizes increase, I have realized I do not have all the hands-on materials that my children need.
With your help, I would like to order Mystery Word Builders. I just know my students will love to discover the skill-building surprises inside the mystery eggs! Each safe plastic egg contains 3 foam letters that spell a simple CVC word, plus a cute, easy-to-identify miniature. Kids just open up an egg and arrange the letters to spell each word—for exciting, hands-on practice with letter-sound recognition, word building and early phonics skills! Plus, each egg is labeled inside, so self-checking is a breeze!

Each sturdy chipboard box comes with 10 illustrated activity cards…plus all the hands-on manipulatives they need to complete each activity dealing with patterning, geometry, counting and sorting skills and they are all hands-on!
