My Students

Every morning in my classroom, I start off by greeting each student with a hello! I believe as a teacher it is important to recognize each student by name, giving them a sense of worth in my classroom. I want students to feel valued and cared for!

My students come from many diverse backgrounds.

We have a high population of homeless students. We have a diverse group of scholars who come in at all different levels and abilities. My classroom has twenty-five students in it. The community I work in is a welcoming, warm, and compassionate community.

My Project

My students would love to have a monthly subscription to Time for Kids so they can keep current on events happening in the world and study current issues. With this subscription, students will get to look forward to a monthly magazine that has exciting news in it.

Students can explore current world issues and discuss in the classroom with Time for Kids.

This activity can help students understand current things that are happening in the world and see things that are outside of Seattle. It can be a great opportunity for students to collaborate and share their opinions and ideas.
