Our school is striving towards a competency based and personalized learning concept. This strategy can be a difficult transition in the higher sciences. Our students have taken on this challenge and hit the ground running.
We have incredible students who want to have control of their learning and learn as much as possible.
This is unique because they come from mix backgrounds and situations. The community is geared towards making sure all our students exceed. We all work together as one.
The use of labs are essential in the science setting. Students learn best if they are actually performing the experiment rather than watching it digitally. To effectively demonstrate science and laboratory skills, students need to be able to complete certain labs. This cannot be done if they don't have access to basic lab supplies and chemicals.
Chemistry is much more effective if students can get their hands dirty and experiment.
This helps foster young scientific minds and grows them into the future scientists and doctors we see today. Our children need the space and support to foster these skills and continue to grow.
