My Students

Love using technology to learn. Help us create a learning station of iPad minis.

My hard working kindergarteners are from a rural city in Northern California.

We are a diverse group of learners with many cultural backgrounds. Our population includes a combination of economically disadvantaged students, gifted and talented, and students receiving special education services. We practice following the Eagle way and we are caring school community that works together.

My Project

I would like to create an entire learning station of iPads to explore technology and meet the demands of the new common core national standards. Students can participate in research based projects, listen to books on audio cd, read stories, and play many academic games including research based interventions.

With the iPad station I will be able to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of not only students needing extra support but those students above grade level as well.

Having this type of technology will aide in students being able to access the curriculum in multiple ways. These students and future students in my class will benefit from learning technology skills needed for the future.
