My Project

I hope to acquire a classroom set of "What We Hunger For" to be used in my Food Science, Food Production, and Introduction to Agriculture courses. This book is a wonderful collection of stories about food, family, and belonging from MN immigrants and refugees.

This book is made up of many thought provoking stories that include recipes we can incorporate into the classes for my students to see themselves in the curriculum and teach other students about their classmates' cultures.

I hope this book will increase student by in, increase student literacy and help students learn from others in our communities.
