My Students

Do you remember what it was like trying to plow through those Science textbooks as a young elementary student?

My students are curious scholars.

Our school is located in the lowest social-economical area in our city. We are in need of resources to help light our fires! Wanting to learn all we can about our world is important to us. We need real world examples that are included in the Science Weekly Reader series.

My Project

My students will enjoy the learning process built into the Science Quiz game. I will be able to leave this activity up and going at all times. No dead time getting in line to go to music or PE, I will be able to pull a question card-learning continues! The quiz game will reinforce lessons learned in class. The Science Weekly Reader I have requested will help relate science to the real world. The kid level stories and activities in this magazine will make science fun. It will increase that scientific type of language needed to understand new concepts. What I also like about the Science Weekly Reader is that the students will also take it home and initiate scientific conversation with family members as well.

Here is your chance to really make a difference, improve the science mind set in your folks!

I am very excited at the thought of perhaps getting these things for my class. Thank you so much for your consideration!
