Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are the most unique, caring, insightful, and curious people I've ever met. They inspire me every day. The majority of our students come from low socioeconomic households. But, they still show up for school every day with an eagerness to learn.
My class is emotionally, economically, and academically diverse.
Over the school year, my class makes great progress towards building a classroom culture that is inclusive, dynamic, and peaceful. We choose to acknowledge and celebrate our differences, rather than just tolerate them.
At our school, we firmly believe that every person should be treated with dignity and respect.
