My students are so free and full of life. They are eager to learn and succeed. Although they reside in the highly impoverished community of Englewood (Southside of Chicago), they are determined to be their best. They refuse to be products of their environment. Most of them come from single-parent homes or are living in temporary living situations. We live by a creed at PECS.
"We believe in the creation of inspired lives produced by the miracle of hard work. I would love to offer more online resources all students in my classroom. These online resources can come from the KINDLE FIRE TABLETS. There are multiple ways I'm hoping to implement these tablets and headphones with my students. Students will have the option to choose book titles that interest them and are on their level.
My students use math programs like Prodigy, Epic, Scootpad, and more.
I want to offer them these programs as needed and not just when tablets or laptops are available at the school. I want to be able to include these tablets as part of my lesson planning for ALL subjects.
