My students need a creative and fun way to express their knowledge! I have been creating Jeopardy games with a Power Point template on various topics we have covered in class and they absolutely love it!
Our school serves students in grades K-8 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers, and a safe learning environment. As a California Distinguished School and a top performer in our district, we strive to keep our curriculum as innovative and challenging as possible.
As a teacher, I strive to provide the best education possible to my students and give them access to quality experiences and materials as possible, which isn't always an easy task with a very limited budget.
I want my students to remember fifth grade and take away learning that will last them a lifetime.
My Project
I have been trying to find creative and interactive ways to prepare my students for tests and a fun way to learn new material. It is easy to create a Jeopardy game using a template online on various topics we have covered or want to learn about, but he hard part is organizing the game and giving everyone a fair chance. That is where the light up buzzer system comes in. I think this would make the game more official, fun and fair!
So far we have covered jeopardy topics such as: states and capitals, multiple 5th grade subjects, global warming, fractions, earth facts, etc.
We can't wait to explore more and use our new official system!
